I see posts where people with slow internet complain about how long it’s going to take once they eventually get the game, but none that complain about it in real-time as they’re downloading it. This is an outlier, considering no game had previously taken this long to download even games with file sizes larger than 100GB. However, it taking this long is obnoxiously long. Initially, I thought it was understandable that it might take a while. Despite having gigabit internet and hard-wiring the PS5, the game is still not finished. In fact, it’s at 80% and estimates that it’ll take another 4 hours. Well, five hours later and it’s still not done. “That’s understandable it’s almost 100GB,” I say. I unpack the game and toss the disc in, and it starts downloading.
